6 Week Challenge Winner- Bailey

 

Much CONGRATULATIONS to Bailey!! She is the winner of our 6 week challenge!! She has been awarded a 1 month unlimited membership. Bailey showed commitment and mental toughness that was a stand out for us! 

This challenge was by far the toughest to decide, all of our participants were dedicated and it showed in their final results!

WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO TRY OUR 6 WEEK CHALLENGE?
I recently made the decision to switch up my career and start training to become an EMT. With a more physically demanding job, I knew that I needed to get in shape, so when my friend told me about the women’s challenge, it seemed like the perfect fit.WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PART?
My favorite part has definitely been the camaraderie, not only with the other ladies in the challenge, but with the coaches as well. You sign up for CrossFit and you get a team cheering you on and helping you be successful.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART?
The entire process is challenging, but the hardest part was just making it through the door everyday. We were all coming to class after longs days at work, we were sore from the previous workout or we just had other things going on. With crossfit you quickly learn that if you can make it through the door, all that other stuff doesn’t matter as much.

OVERALL HOW DO YOU FEEL? PHYSICALLY? EMOTIONALLY?

Overall, I feel pretty amazing. Sure, I’m still sore after CrossFit, but if you don’t feel your workout the next day, what’s the point? And emotionally? To quote the great Elle Woods: “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands, they just don’t.”
