WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO TRY OUR 6 WEEK CHALLENGE?

Starting a new gym adventure is scary! I loved the idea that It was all ladies, we were all most likely new to this gym, it was a challenge to help push myself, and that we would learn the fundamentals to have a good base to build from.

 

WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE PART?

My favorite part was the coaches, for sure, and the ladies I worked out with. Everyone made me feel very comfortable coming in and the coaches are fun and know what they are talking about. They made us feel like no matter what we had going on, we could find a way to do this! The ladies worked as a team…. And as a team celebrated each other’s advancements.

 

WHAT HAS BEEN THE HARDEST PART?

The hardest part was getting over myself. Learning that just walking in the door is Step 1 to getting where you want to be. I’m not afraid of walking in the door anymore! I’m only afraid of a million Burpees. (I’ll do them anyway, but just sayin lol)

 

OVERALL, HOW DO YOU FEEL PHYSICALLY? EMOTIONALLY?

I feel Amazing. Physically, I feel so much stronger. I feel solid and way more energized than I have been in a long time and I sleep SO good!

Emotionally….. I cannot tell you how much this has done for me. I have a very high amount of stress outside of the gym. Work full time and school full time and, as a friend of mine said,… When you have a bad day… you go to the bar! (and lift!)  I can tell you that every time I leave after a workout I am in such a good mood! All worries are gone and I feel like I can do anything! I feel excited I have a place to go to where I am encouraged, I am pushed, and I am cheered on to be better than the last time.
