I was introduced to CrossFit while I was serving in the Army. The moment I began CrossFit, I knew that it was something I could utilize as a leader in the Infantry in order to prepare my soldiers for combat. I quickly adopted the training methodology and began training with the intent to better my fitness and prepare myself for upcoming combat deployments. During my time in the service I sustained multiple injuries over the course of nine years, CrossFit and the community that surrounds it has helped me to recover and maintain a high level of fitness. I am absolutely passionate about coaching. Helping individuals become better athletes and living healthier lives drives me everyday to become a better coach. Our community here at CFM is like no other and makes coaching our members an awesome experience everyday.
Before coaching CrossFit I had spent several years coaching youth soccer at a competitive level (Academy, Select, High School) I have an extensive coaching background in youth soccer with national level certification and licenses. I also served nine years in the Army as an Infantry SSG with two combat deployments.
Becoming a coach at CFM has been a privilege and honor. To be afforded the opportunity to coach the CFM community and work next to some of the greatest coaches in the business, has been one of the most gratifying experiences as a coach. My wife Rebecca and three kids all do CrossFit here at CFM and share my love and passion for this place.
